Our Story

The Boedecker Foundation Collaborative Campus sits on 2.5 acres at a centrally located intersection—Porter and Riverside—in the diverse and vibrant neighborhood of Inglewood in East Nashville. In 2017, the historic East Nashville Church was acquired by the Boedecker Foundation from its former proprietors, Pastor Glenda and Dair Sutton of Family Affair Ministries. Since this acquisition, the entire property has undergone extensive renovations, embracing contemporary aesthetics and introducing additional office spaces. The transformed campus now encompasses 20,000 square feet of leased areas that have hosted more than 12 non-profit organizations. It also features the distinguished Riverside Revival, a world-class music and event venue, along with an early childhood development center.

Since opening our doors in 2020, the Boedecker Foundation Collaborative Campus has sought to create a welcoming space for non-profit partners to collaborate and find success through sustainability. Often the number one challenge for community organizations is finding the space to meet and serve. Our campus is providing not only a critical office and meeting space for our community partners, but it is also giving them access to each other as a way to share resources and critical services to those most in need.
